Dr Birenbaum and Mina were top notch in their service and attention to detail. They have a great selection of frames and the time Dr Birenbaum took with me on the exam insured my script was as good as possible. I was going to switch to glasses because contacts have been an issue but he even made it where those were comfortable. I ended up with frames AND contacts. It is a white glove experience and time well spent. I will return and can highly recommend. - 12/03/2022

Also the store itself is more than just its nice aesthetic as it carries a range of brands, including some very unique ones. Great selection of frames and what makes it even more of a special store than its products is the experienced optician Jon, who has a great eye, is honest and really listens to help guide his recommendations. When it comes to fitting the frames and recommending the best shape for my face (as one of my two frames purchased were rimless), he knows exactly what to do with confidence. Dr. Robert is extremely friendly and takes the time to explain the entire process of the exam. We found out that my previous doctor had misdiagnosed me and I was wearing the wrong glasses/contacts for a year. He also said give me a thorough explanation on how to clean and disinfect my contacts. I stopped in to Spectacles after purchasing a pair of designer sunglasses from another shop that were slipping down my face. The other shop said they had to ship them out to adjust them. Went to Spectacles and Jon adjusted them and even cleaned/sanitized them for me without hesitation and now they fit much better! In and out in 5 minutes. Highly recommend! - 9/17/2022

I was walking past Spectacles Fine Eyewear, when a pair of sunglasses caught my eye. I walked in and was warmly greeted by John. I showed him the pair I was interested in and had some questions about other brands, at which time we walked me through the store explaining the products and their price points.

Their selection is truly awesome, from classy to flashy, dressed down or loud, you'll find a really awesome set of shades from any one of their brands. Gucci, Tom Ford, Maui Jim, Ray Ban, Oakley just to name a few.

After making my selection, Mina cleaned the glasses to factory new condition, helped me complete the warranty paperwork, and held engaging conversation while we wrapped the process up. Couldn't be happier with the experience and purchase.

When I need (or rather really want 😉 ) new sunglasses this is where I go. So many unique brands and designs. They are always excited to pull out new styles that just came in, some very hard to get. A true luxury eyeglass doctor experience. As soon as you walk in the door you can feel the professional standard is set. My husband and I just dropped in and were very impressed with the selection of frames for both men and women. We ended up purchasing two pairs of glasses each. In the process we met Jon who has given us exceptional service. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. After receiving our glasses his follow up was amazing. As it turns out, my husband was not completely satisfied with the comfort of one of the pairs of glasses and Jon insisted on replacing them with a different, more comfortable frame at no cost. I have needed my lenses replaced on both pairs of my glasses, due to me dropping and scratching them. Jon had new lenses ordered and put in a matter of days at no charge. Dr Birenbaum is a fantastic eye doctor. He explains his tests thoroughly so you understand how and why everything is needed for your exam. He’s been doing this for a while and really knows his stuff. I had an eye doctor I’d used for years but went to Spectacles for specific frames I couldn’t get anywhere else. The staff was great and the experience good. But, my prescription turned out to be wrong (twice!) and Spectacles was very accommodating about my old doctor’s mistakes and replaced the lenses. I lost faith in my old doctor and decided to give Dr. Birenbaum a try. So glad I did! He was so thorough and so good at explaining everything. I recently got a new pair of glasses made at Spectacles and couldn't be happier. I wear Lindberg glasses and it is hard to find a true specialist in this rimless line from Denmark. Wonderful experience. I went in with a terrible migraine and was worried about what was going on with my eyes and left feeling comfortable and happy about the service. The front desk staff was nice and honest about my wait time as well as caring about what was ailing me. Dr. B is very attentive and listens to your concerns , I’m glad I found an eye Dr. ( optometrist) that cares and helped me out . Turns out i only needed prescription eyedrops and to wear polarized sunglasses.
I am going to go back and get some reading glasses for future needs.
But they are not a must , so this makes me happy!!!!
I definitely recommend Dr. B for any of your eye needs.

I have visited Spectacles a few times and I absolutely love this store! They have the best eye wear in Dallas! Truly! I got great one on one service and I eventually picked out an awesome pair of new glasses and cannot wait to pick them up!

Dr. Birenbaum was the 4th eye doctor I went to 12 years ago - after 3 other eye doctors could not get glasses that made my eyesight better. People at work said "We only go to Dr. Birenbaum". He is awesome. He is very talented and very patient. He retired for a while, and during that time no one could make me glasses that worked, or even copy the RX he had made correctly. I was SO excited when he opened up his new shop! I love the frame choices, he is AWESOME at picking out great glasses for your face, and won't let you get glasses that don't look good on you. The team was very helpful while I was shopping for my frames. They have a very good eye and really gave me some great ideas. The pair that I chose is just right for my features. The lenses are seated in just the right way to allow me to ‘navigate’ the trifocal/progressive feature.
